Newborn sessions are a beautiful way to capture the beautiful tiny details of your newborn. From the little wrinkles and rolls, the tiny hands, the itty bitty toes, their button nose and little pouts, these sessions are focused on capturing the smallest of details that you want to remember.

As a mother of two little munchkins, I know how quickly babies can grow. The moment is so fleeting and capturing those little details are so important so you can look back one day and remember just how tiny they were.

Newborn sessions are perfect to document the earliest stage of their lives. The sessions are held in a professional heated studio with a client lounge, change table and all props, backdrops, outfits, headbands, bonnets and more is provided. Sessions are meticulously planned prior to your arrival so you can have a beautiful stress free experience and watch the magic happen as your baby will be handled with upmost care as we work through the sets specifically designed for your session day. All sessions are customised for clients based on your preferences, colour schemes and prop selection.

Newborns are best photographed in the first few weeks of life between 5 - 21 days (studio newborn) or first few weeks of life (lifestyle newborn) as this is when they are most sleepiest and squishy. Not all mums can visit the studio immediately and so I do offer newborn sessions up to 3 months of age. For older babies it is recommended to have a slightly longer session to account for my settling time as older babies are typically more alert.

Newborn safety will always be paramount throughout the session. Great care, skill and time is taken to ensure that your baby is comfortable throughout the session and we will take as many breaks as needed to ensure that the baby is settled.
